As the Senior Grocery Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in the company’s supply chain operations by managing product orders, optimizing purchasing decisions, and ensuring inventory goals are met with efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the purchasing of perishable grocery items to meet forecasted demand while minimizing inventory losses.

• Cultivate and maintain strong, cost-effective supplier relationships that ensure consistent product quality and reliable service.

• Analyze acquisition costs and market conditions to guide purchase quantities and maximize inventory turnover.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, merchandising, and logistics teams to streamline the product flow.

• Address and resolve in-store inventory issues promptly to maintain service levels and customer satisfaction.

• Conduct store visits to review product availability, vendor performance, and implementation of programs.

• Monitor key procurement KPIs including cost, quality, service levels, inventory turns, and spoilage via daily and weekly reporting.

• Utilize remote systems to manage procurement processes from off-site locations as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in Purchasing or Vendor Management, preferably in food buying or grocery procurement.

• Strong grasp of procurement processes, market dynamics, and logistics.

• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build and sustain professional relationships.

• Adaptability and success in fast-paced, multi-demand environments.

Salary & Benefits:

• Annual Salary Range: $80,000 to $110,000

• Monthly Equivalent: $6666 to $9166
