Senior Java Software Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with hands-on experience in core Java development, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building scalable, high-performance applications, particularly in the financial domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, focusing on backend development using Java 8 & 17, Spring, Spring Boot, and modern CI/CD practices. Experience with UI technologies like Angular, working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and exposure to cloud services (AWS) is essential. Familiarity with Kafka and quantitative research is a strong plus.

Required Skills:

• Core Java (Java 8 & 17) with hands-on coding experience.
• Strong proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot for building microservices.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Experience with Angular or other front-end/UI technologies.
• Proficiency in RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (minimum 3-4 services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Experience with Kafka for building real-time data streaming solutions.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design principles.
• Financial domain knowledge or familiarity with quantitative research is a plus.
