Description:
Kraft Heinz is seeking a Sr. Manager, PAC & Legislative Affairs to join its Government Relations Office in Washington, DC. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the company’s PAC management, compliance initiatives, and government affairs engagement while working closely with senior executives, policymakers, and stakeholders.
As part of one of the world’s most iconic food companies, you will have the ability to influence public policy, manage corporate political engagement, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. This position requires strong project management, exceptional writing and communication skills, and the ability to exercise discretion on sensitive political and business matters.
Political Action Committee (PAC) Management
Oversee daily PAC operations and develop strategies to grow participation among eligible employees.
Prepare and deliver PAC presentation materials.
Compliance Oversight
Ensure compliance with all U.S. Government Affairs regulations, including Lobbying Disclosure Reports, FEC filings, tax filings, audits, and voluntary disclosures.
Manage law firms and consultancies engaged in PAC and lobbying compliance.
Government Affairs Engagement
Support the Global Head of Government Affairs and federal/state government relations teams.
Draft policy memos, advocacy materials, and prepare for facility visits with elected officials.
Manage special projects to strengthen relationships with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders.
At least 7 years of experience in PAC management, government relations, or public policy.
Proven experience in growing and managing corporate PACs.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Exceptional research and writing abilities.
Ability to engage diverse audiences, including senior executives and policymakers.
Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and complex issues.
💲 Base Salary: $118,400 – $148,000 annually ($9,866 – $12,333 per month)
💲 Bonus: Performance-based bonus eligibility
