Description:
Frida, a leading consumer products company supporting parents worldwide, is seeking a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance to ensure that both current and new products meet and exceed quality standards. The role will focus on establishing quality metrics and standards for the product development pipeline and legacy products.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and continuously improve QMS per ISO 13485, FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820), and other applicable standards.
Quality Control Plans & Checklists: Assist in creating sustainable QC plans, detailed testing standards, and checklists for new and ongoing products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with warehouse, 3PLs, suppliers, and internal teams to establish and maintain quality procedures, testing, and CAPA processes.
Customer Support: Interface with Customer Service to address complaints, facilitate corrective actions, and communicate quality improvements.
Testing & Specifications: Coordinate testing with suppliers and 3rd party labs; review specifications for new and legacy products.
Audits: Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, address findings, and implement corrective actions.
Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate, monitor, and audit suppliers to ensure adherence to company quality standards.
Training: Develop and implement training programs to keep employees up to date with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Process Improvement: Identify and address high product return rates or underperformance issues.
Qualifications:
6+ years’ experience in consumer products, quality, or compliance fields.
Hands-on experience with developing, implementing, and upgrading QMS.
Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other regulatory compliance standards (UL/ETL, ROHS, Prop65, etc.).
Experience with DFMEA, Control Plans, Testing procedures, and AQLs.
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
Strong project management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
Experience working with material/component suppliers (PCBAs, metals, plastics, cables).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation control software (preferably Aras PLM), material management software, and statistical applications.
