Description:

Simon-Kucher, a global consultancy specializing in revenue and profit growth, is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Industrials team in North America. This senior-level role will lead and manage client engagements, deliver actionable insights, and mentor teams to provide high-impact recommendations to clients across the Industrials sector, including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Chemicals, Electronics, Industrial Goods, Logistics, Oil & Gas, and more.

The Senior Manager will drive project planning and execution, ensure alignment with client objectives, and manage project cost and margin. The role includes developing trusted client relationships, preparing client-ready deliverables, expanding consulting capabilities, and supporting business development initiatives. The position requires leadership, strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage delivery of client engagements, elevating analysis and insights.

• Drive project planning and execution, ensuring client objectives and project margins are met.

• Lead and mentor teams of junior consultants to generate innovative, actionable insights.

• Develop senior-level advisory relationships and deliver high-quality recommendations.

• Engage senior clients to understand needs and secure buy-in for recommendations.

• Identify opportunities to expand Simon-Kucher’s offerings and client base.

• Prepare and present client-ready deliverables independently.

• Manage multiple engagements and project teams concurrently.

• Contribute to thought leadership, practice growth, and new business development.

• Coach and develop consultants, providing guidance and career development.

• Maintain awareness of industry trends and analyze existing processes for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree required; MS, MA, MBA, or other advanced degrees preferred.

• Minimum 7+ years in professional services, ideally management consulting within Industrials.

• Proven expertise in growth strategy, pricing, product and portfolio design, marketing, distribution, and sales strategies.

• Strong analytical skills to extract insights from large datasets.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.

• Track record of managing complex projects and multiple engagements.

• Strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit.

• Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.

• Network within the Industrials sector is a plus, particularly with senior executives.
