Senior Manager

Description:

Aon is seeking a Value Realization Office (VRO) Lead for North America to manage portfolio investment planning, program delivery assurance, and value realization across one or more solution lines, capabilities, or functional areas. The role involves collaboration with senior Aon Business Services (ABS) leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives deliver tangible business value, including growth and margin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align portfolio initiatives with business strategy and investment guidelines.

• Develop and oversee implementation plans for initiatives and roadmaps.

• Establish key business outcomes, KPIs, and metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of ABS initiatives.

• Lead portfolio governance meetings and communicate program status to leadership.

• Support program scope, resource planning, and consistent governance using reporting templates.

• Analyze, recommend, and drive process and program improvements across portfolios and functional teams.

• Support communications, change management, and collaborator alignment efforts.

Skills / Abilities:

• Proven track record in portfolio management, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong critical thinking, operational expertise, and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including public speaking and presentations.

• Ability to influence, negotiate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Analytical skills, pattern recognition, and clarity in reporting insights.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Professional project management certifications (PMP, PfMP, PMI-ACP) preferred but not required.

Education:
