Publicis Digital Experience, a leading division of Publicis Groupe, is seeking a Senior Manager, Retail Search to join its dynamic digital commerce and media team. The role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of marketing, technology, and retail innovation, helping brands optimize their retail search performance and drive measurable business growth.
As part of an expanding network of more than 7,000 global professionals across leading agencies such as Razorfish, Digitas, Saatchi & Saatchi X, and Arc Worldwide, you’ll contribute to developing best-in-class retail media strategies for top-tier clients. The position requires a strong understanding of Amazon Ads and other retail media platforms, combined with leadership and analytical expertise to deliver exceptional campaign results.
Lead the development and execution of retail search activation strategies across major e-commerce and retail media platforms.
Oversee a team of Search Managers and Specialists, providing mentorship, training, and performance guidance.
Manage the end-to-end process for keyword strategy, audience targeting, campaign optimization, and performance reporting.
Collaborate with internal leaders to refine optimization processes and elevate campaign performance across clients.
Develop and present client-facing strategies, insights, and performance recommendations, ensuring alignment with overall media objectives.
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate search campaigns into holistic retail and omnichannel media strategies.
Drive innovation through testing, process improvement, and emerging platform adoption.
Establish and communicate clear performance expectations with team members, fostering growth and accountability.
Ensure flawless campaign execution with attention to budget accuracy, timelines, and deliverables.
Maintain expert-level knowledge of retail media ecosystems, including Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, Criteo, Kroger/Promote IQ, and Citrus Ads.
Support the Director of Retail Search in developing scalable strategies and frameworks for multi-client retail search management.
5+ years of hands-on experience in retail search marketing, digital media buying, or e-commerce advertising.
Proven track record managing teams and delivering measurable campaign results.
Expertise in retail platforms such as Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart, and Criteo.
Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client presentations and storytelling.
Experience developing keyword, audience, and bidding strategies within real-time bidding (RTB) environments.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, fostering team growth and collaboration.
Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and an eye for innovation.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Google SEM or equivalent search marketing experience (a plus).
Experience in developing omnichannel retail media strategies.
Strong soft skills in client relationship management and strategic communication.
Proven ability to influence, challenge, and guide clients toward data-driven decisions.
Competitive annual salary range: USD 95,950 – USD 150,995 (location-dependent)
