Description:

LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Operations – Business Platform to lead, scale, and inspire a high-performing team that bridges product strategy and customer experience. This position is a critical leadership role within the Business Platform R&D team, which develops key systems and tools powering LinkedIn’s user and business ecosystem.

As a Senior Manager, you will oversee a team of Product Operations Managers who act as the voice of customers and support teams, ensuring seamless and impactful user experiences across LinkedIn’s platform. The role covers a wide range of product areas, including checkout, billing and payments, user and license management, help centers, live chat, AI-driven support tools, and customer success systems.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping team vision, setting clear objectives (OKRs), and fostering collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams spanning the U.S. and India. This role demands a mix of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and people leadership to drive continuous improvement in user satisfaction and operational performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, recruit, and mentor a team of Product Operations Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and trust.

  • Define team strategy, establish measurable goals (OKRs), and track performance metrics across diverse product areas.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Customer Support, and Business teams to enhance product quality and usability.

  • Lead large-scale organizational initiatives, ensuring smooth coordination across multiple stakeholders.

  • Leverage data to identify user friction, generate actionable insights, and influence product roadmaps.

  • Serve as a strategic representative of the Product Operations team in leadership forums and key decision-making processes.

  • Cultivate domain expertise in all Business Platform product areas and proactively recommend process and system improvements.

  • Occasionally travel to LinkedIn offices for meetings and strategic planning sessions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Management, Statistics, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline.

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Product Operations, Product Management, or Customer Experience.

  • 4+ years leading teams with diverse skill sets and professional backgrounds.

  • Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related field.

  • Prior experience in a technology or social media company managing domains such as billing, license management, customer support, or AI-driven support tools.

  • Strong understanding of SQL, Tableau, CRM tools (Dynamics), and data visualization platforms.

  • Demonstrated success in implementing AI solutions to improve team efficiency and operations.

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive measurable outcomes.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience synthesizing data from multiple sources to influence business decisions.
