Senior Manager



Primary Purpose: As a vital member of the in-house Global Visual Experience team at Coach, you will take a lead role in shaping and directing art-driven digital experiences that span a diverse range of mediums, including AR, VR, interactive interfaces, and immersive environments. Collaborating closely with our cross-functional partners in Visual Merchandising (VM), events, 3D design, and the broader experiential team, your mission will be to craft immersive, tech-powered experiences that elevate the Coach brand. In this role, you will become intimately familiar with Coach's storied 80-year legacy and help envision how it evolves within the context of cutting-edge digital experiences.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conceptualization and Ideation: Collaborate with the Visual Experience team to generate and develop innovative ideas, merging digital elements seamlessly with pop-up activations, in-store takeovers, AR campaign experiences, immersive environments, and gamified interactions.
  • External Collaboration: Work closely with freelance talent, consultants, and creative agencies to seamlessly integrate emerging technologies into Coach's digital experiences. This may involve virtualizing the Coach showroom or other ambitious projects.
  • Design Presentation: Effectively communicate your design ideas and concepts to key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Continuously refine your work based on feedback and insights.
  • Visual Prototyping: Create visual representations, including renderings and sketches, guided by feedback from the Experience Design lead. These will serve as blueprints for internal and external project deliverables.
  • User-Centric Design: Translate conceptual visions into user journeys, UX, and UI designs that can be readily shared and implemented by collaborators.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present your design concepts to global leaders and key stakeholders, helping them envision the future of Coach's digital experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Artistic Vision: Exceptional design sensibilities with a keen eye for pop culture, technology trends, graphic design, and overall design aesthetics.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in digital design and interactive projects, with a portfolio that showcases your expertise.

  • Software Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, and a strong foundation in 3D design.

  • Diverse Background: Proven experience with content-driven applications and experiential websites.

  • Design Prowess: A compelling portfolio that reflects your mastery of composition, typography, and storytelling through design.

  • Collaborative Mindset: High emotional intelligence and the ability to collaborate effectively across various functions to achieve shared objectives and drive business results.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

An outstanding candidate will also have:

  • Educational Background: A BFA or BS in design-related fields (not required).

  • Cinema 4D Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Cinema 4D, enhancing your ability to create captivating design experiences at every touchpoint of the consumer journey.

  • Diverse Design Portfolio: Strong skills in product design and graphic design, as evidenced by case studies and portfolio pieces.
