Senior Manager

Description:

DHL Express is seeking a Sr Manager for Facilities & Network, a critical role within the IT Infrastructure team. This position will report to the Head of IT Infrastructure and involve working with cross-functional teams to improve processes, increase customer satisfaction, and enhance user experiences. The Sr Manager will oversee core business operations related to IT Network, Voice, Video Conference Site Management, CCTV Infrastructure, Automation Infrastructure, and Local Facility Infrastructure. Additionally, the role involves transformation through disciplined Project Management practices, ensuring compliance with DHL's IT Security standards, and managing IT Vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead an IT team and vendors providing services in:

  • IT Network services (LAN and WAN), managing UCTO vendor partners

  • Voice & Video Conferencing services

  • Site Management services (UPS, RAE, Site Surveys, etc.)

  • CCTV Infrastructure support

  • Automation Infrastructure support (e.g., LT1 solutions)

  • Local Facility infrastructure (e.g., Reweigh machines, Image Scanners, etc.)

• Ensure that Facilities and Network services align with overall IT strategy and business objectives.

• Provide senior-level leadership and management for Facilities and Telecom Network support operations.

• Establish and improve operational processes and procedures, setting up Service Level Agreements (SLA/OLA) for each service.

• Oversee asset lifecycle management of IT assets supporting Facilities and Networks.

• Design and implement the technology roadmap and strategy for US IT Facility and Network Services, aligning with Regional and Global IT standards.

• Ensure high customer satisfaction by monitoring SLA/OLA performance and addressing any issues or exceptions.

• Lead talent planning, career development, mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members.

• Manage the financial aspects of IT Facility and Network Services, ensuring services are delivered at optimal costs.

• Manage financial charge validations and track the IT Telecom Services budget.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA or MS/MA in a related field.

• 10+ years of technology experience in relevant areas.

• Professional certifications such as ITILv3/4, Cloud (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS), Cisco (CCNP, CCIE), Microsoft certifications, or Project Management PMP.

• Strong knowledge in Networking, Servers, Collaboration Technologies (Polycom, Cisco), and Security Technologies (e.g., IPSec, VPN, Routers, DNS).

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse audiences.

• Strong project management, financial analysis, and networking skills.
