Description:

Weber Shandwick is seeking a Senior Manager, Client Experience – Technology to join their team in New York, focused on supporting clients in the technology sector, including enterprise software, electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, and aerospace. In this role, you will act as the day-to-day client liaison, offer strategic counsel, recommend programs and activities to meet client goals, manage external communications projects, and oversee account budgets. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s industry, business, and target audience.

• Work with senior specialists to deliver solutions that meet client objectives, including media, strategy, and creative services.

• Identify and analyze industry issues, providing proactive counsel and real-time tech trend insights.

• Generate content ideas, develop media materials, and pitch media to secure earned media opportunities.

• Assist with financial management for clients, including invoice development, budget reconciliation, and activity reports.

• Participate in new business development activities.

• Mentor and coach team members, helping them grow their skills and careers.

• Participate in office-wide professional learning and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, particularly in media relations.

• Passion for technology is essential; technical knowledge and experience in the field is a plus.

• Strong strategic decision-making abilities and intellectual curiosity.

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and with clients.
