Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Plans, executes and manages multiple business and strategic planning projects in a timely manner, including:

  • Works in a collaborative manner to assist and advise Senior Leadership and proactively manages the development of a comprehensive Strategic Plan that appropriately defines the mission, vision, values and key priorities.
  • Leads the development of actionable next steps that include accountable parties, timelines and progress updates for each priority identified in the Comprehensive Strategic Plan proactively.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform and instruct in the analyses and makes appropriate recommendations regarding Strategic Planning projects (Research, Education and Clinical).
  • Identifies project goals, critical success factors, outcomes, deliverables and key stakeholders/ participants for planning projects (in conjunction with Senior Leadership and project sponsors as needed).
  • Develops a work plan with key data elements, priorities and assignments, deadlines and meeting dates.
  • Leads the development of service line and/or program enhancements.
  • Handles high-priority and ad-hoc projects.

Provides assistance in Business Development projects including on-site and off-site locations that include:

  • Recommendations for geographic expansion, growth, mission, program distinction/recognition and/or revenue enhancement.
  • Develops market analysis to evaluate competitive landscape (pull, analyze and interpret data).
  • Identifies relevant trends among important stakeholders.
  • Develops go-to-market strategies for new or expanding services.
  • Profiles potential acquisition or affiliation targets.
  • Prepares and analyzes volume projections and, as needed, assistance in financial projections/due diligence.
  • Identifies risks, mitigation factors, and key performance indicators.
  • Tracks all targeted growth objectives, due diligence, and associated recommendations to ensure volume projections were accurate.
  • Recommends exit strategies if targets are not met within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Manages outreach and business development team.
  • Participates and assumes a leadership position in multi-disciplinary system planning.
  • Leads in the development and management of work plans to produce deliverables and meet target deadlines.
  • Facilitates meetings to identify goals and strategies.
  • Leads the collaborative discussions that identify issues, objectives, alternative solutions, and resource requirement.
  • Assists in moving projects through the approval process and provide additional support for plan implementation as needed.
  • Leads in mentoring new employees and providing guidance on existing projects.
