Senior Managing Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 50% telecommuting permitted): Apply industry standard methodology such as CRISP-DM to understand business problems and data environment in context of the client business. Provide business insights to clients through innovative solutions and services in client consulting environment for structured and unstructured data using big data, advanced analytics, machine learning, financial services regulation and risk and governance practices. Achieve business objectives by improving how information is recognized and acted upon across the enterprise and business function. Translate strategies for business intelligence and performance management into forecasts, plans and metrics to improve insight and decision making. Improve performance by applying advanced mathematical modeling, data analytics and simulation techniques. Formulate analytics enablement strategies for clients by performing analytics maturity assessment, value case analysis, strategic road map development and proposal development using standard tools and techniques. Review and analyze client written materials, such as frameworks, policies, procedures, methodologies and governance artifacts. Utilize: Python, R, Java, Data Science, Machine learning & Stats, Natural Language Processing, Big Data Technologies and SQL. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree)
