Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Yochana is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for an on-site contract position in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned engineering professional with over 8 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering and a strong record of driving process efficiency, quality improvements, and operational excellence.

This role will involve conducting detailed manufacturing site audits, developing process improvement strategies, supporting cost and quality enhancement initiatives, and engaging in manufacturing line transfers and process changes. Candidates should be well-versed in statistical analysis and documentation standards, with additional value placed on Six Sigma certification and knowledge of manufacturing data tools such as Minitab.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support manufacturing and industrial engineering projects

• Conduct site audits and propose data-driven process improvement plans

• Execute projects to reduce cost, improve quality, increase yield and throughput

• Characterize new manufacturing processes through data collection and analysis

• Perform manufacturing data gathering and statistical evaluations using Minitab

• Support new product innovations and transitions within the supply chain

• Contribute to manufacturing line/site transfers and implementation of process changes

• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including procedures and technical work instructions

• Review engineering drawings and apply good documentation practices

• Utilize and navigate client PLM systems (e.g., Map Agile Follow-up)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Six Sigma methodology

• Strong analytical skills in statistical process control and root cause analysis

• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
