Senior Product Manager

 

Description:

Docusign, a global leader in digital agreement management, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its dynamic team in San Francisco, CA. This role focuses on Developer Experience and is critical in shaping the extensibility strategy of Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform. The successful candidate will define how developers and partners interact with Docusign’s data, AI, and agent systems to expand functionality, integrate with external tools, and enhance automation capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Roadmap Ownership:
    Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Data IO, AI Model/LLM, and Agent extensibility journeys. Develop roadmaps that enable partners and developers to contribute to Docusign’s ecosystem effectively.

  • Platform Enablement:
    Design extensibility mechanisms that allow developers to import/export data, customize data models, integrate AI systems, and create their own intelligent agents.

  • Cross-functional Leadership:
    Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Developer Advocacy, and Marketing teams to ensure an intuitive and scalable developer experience across all integrations.

  • Metrics & Adoption:
    Establish and track key metrics such as extension apps built, adoption rates, and API usage. Use data insights to optimize developer experience and product performance.

  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Provide consistent updates to leadership and stakeholders on product progress, developer adoption, and roadmap milestones.


Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of product management experience, preferably with developer platforms, APIs, or extensibility frameworks.

  • Proven ability to ship and manage developer-facing products or platform primitives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of data-driven decision-making.

  • Experience working in agile development environments and cross-functional global setups.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Strong technical background to collaborate with engineering on design and architecture discussions.

  • Familiarity with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Systems Integrators, and corporate developer ecosystems.

  • Experience driving alignment across multiple stakeholders in matrixed organizations.


Compensation and Benefits

Compensation:

  • Base Salary (California): $140,000 - $225,075 per year

  • Bonus eligibility based on performance

  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
