Senior Product Manager

Description:

MSS Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of a large-scale Tax and Accounting System.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the platform supports efficiency, accuracy, and transparency across all financial operations — meeting the needs of internal users, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Define and maintain a clear product vision and multi-year roadmap aligned with organizational and compliance goals.

Drive innovation and modernization across tax and accounting functions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with Finance, Treasury, IT, and external vendors to gather and prioritize business requirements.

Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to deliver scalable and user-focused solutions.

Requirements & Analysis:

Translate business needs into technical specifications for billing, payments, reporting, and integrations.

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the user experience.

Project Delivery

Manage the full product lifecycle — from discovery to deployment and support.

Ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Compliance & Data Integrity

Maintain adherence to local, state, and federal tax and accounting standards.

Collaborate with IT and Security teams to ensure data security, integrity, and system reliability.

User Support & Training

Work with training teams to develop documentation and rollout sessions.

Act as the primary point of contact for user feedback and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.

5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Business Analyst, preferably within financial, tax, or government technology environments.

Solid understanding of public-sector accounting and compliance frameworks.

Proven experience managing Agile/Scrum-based software development lifecycles.

Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., Tyler Technologies, Oracle, SAP) preferred.
