The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead major construction projects in Dallas, TX. The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale construction projects, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing budgets, and maintaining positive client relationships. This role demands an individual with a strong sense of ownership, who can drive productivity, motivate teams, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage interdisciplinary teams to deliver complex construction projects from initiation to close-out.
Actively oversee project safety and quality control activities to maintain high standards.
Take responsibility for project staffing, budget control, and financial reporting.
Participate in bid package development, pre-qualification processes, and budget preparation.
Conduct and lead preconstruction meetings while addressing RFIs effectively.
Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, including long-lead materials and equipment that may impact cash flow or schedule.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project partners.
Analyze project delivery approaches, develop alternative strategies, and implement effective solutions.
Oversee project close-out activities and ensure smooth claim resolution.
Serve as the main contact for senior leadership regarding critical business initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
Expertise in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, field supervision, and financial reporting.
Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
Ability to relocate may be required for specific projects.
