Senior Project Manager

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced and licensed Senior Project Manager / Geologist (LG) to lead a team of environmental professionals and oversee complex subsurface and remediation projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to manage multidisciplinary environmental projects and foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:
  Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of geologists, scientists, and engineers. Cultivate a culture of accountability, professional growth, and technical excellence.

• Project Oversight:
  Plan, execute, and manage complex environmental projects, including subsurface investigations, site assessments, and remediation efforts, from inception to completion.

• Client Relations:
  Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction through timely communication, strategic problem-solving, and tailored technical solutions.

• Regulatory Compliance:
  Navigate and ensure adherence to environmental regulations across Washington and Oregon, providing technical guidance on compliance, permitting, and reporting.

• Remediation Design:
  Develop innovative and cost-efficient remediation plans utilizing modern technologies and industry best practices.

• Proposal Development:
  Lead proposal preparation and presentation efforts that highlight team expertise and technical strength to win new projects.

• Quality Assurance / Quality Control:
  Maintain the highest quality standards across deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

• Safety Management:
  Promote a strong safety culture across field operations and office activities, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.

• Business Development:
  Identify new opportunities and collaborate with leadership to grow client accounts and expand project portfolios across the region.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or Environmental Science (required).

• Licensing: Licensed Geologist (LG) in Washington and/or Oregon (mandatory).

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in environmental consulting with substantial experience managing subsurface investigation and remediation projects.

• Proven track record of leading small, high-performing teams and delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.

• In-depth understanding of state and federal environmental regulations, remediation practices, and compliance documentation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Autodesk, Adobe, and other project management tools.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites across the Pacific Northwest as needed.
