Forcepoint, a leading cybersecurity company serving global enterprises and governments, is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer in New York to provide pre-sales technical expertise and support for its advanced cybersecurity solutions. This full-time role is integral to the development, presentation, and implementation of Forcepoint’s complex product suite, helping customers achieve secure digital transformation through innovative technologies.

The Sr. Sales Engineer will work closely with sales teams and customers, offering in-depth technical knowledge of products, creating product specifications, and demonstrating feasibility through custom prototyping. This role is suited for highly experienced professionals with strong technical backgrounds in areas such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Secure Service Edge (SSE), and Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW), along with desirable certifications like CISSP, CEH, or SANS.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales staff to identify customer needs and apply product solutions effectively

  • Prepare detailed design and implementation specifications for customer environments

  • Conduct product demonstrations and develop prototypes to validate feasibility

  • Provide technical consultations to prospective clients, assessing product fit and capabilities

  • Contribute to Forcepoint’s organizational goals by aligning client solutions with long-term strategies


Qualifications:

  • University degree and 4–6 years of related experience or equivalent technical background

  • Strong understanding of sales engineering and technical product implementation

  • Experience with cybersecurity solutions such as DLP, SSE, and NGFW

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or SANS are highly desirable

  • Ability to network with internal and external stakeholders and resolve a wide range of issues creatively

  • Excellent judgment and strategic thinking with minimal supervision required


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $200,000 – $230,000 annually ($16666 – $19166/month)
