Senior Software Engineer

Aither is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join their remote-first team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for back-end web development, software programming, and object-oriented programming (OOP) tasks. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain back-end web systems and software.

• Implement object-oriented programming (OOP) principles in your day-to-day tasks.

• Integrate AI/LLM tools and frameworks (REST APIs, containerized inference, third-party endpoints).

• Design and maintain scalable, efficient microservices architecture.

• Work with Postgres or other SQL-based databases to handle real-time data.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless and intuitive user experiences.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Proficiency with AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Replit, Lovable) and open-source frameworks (e.g., Supabase).

• Strong fluency with AI/LLM integrations, including REST APIs, containerized inference, or third-party endpoints.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Deep understanding of Postgres or SQL-based databases and real-time data concepts.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Proficiency in React and Node.js (experience with Next.js and Electron is a big plus).

• Strong product mindset, with a focus on user experience, business impact, and AI + human synergy.
