Job Summary:

The Senior Solution Architect will focus on the Shop Floor Systems project. This role requires deep expertise to independently develop and enhance custom Client Server and ASP.NET application components using VB .NET, C# .NET, C# .NET Core, and SQL Server databases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality code for Client Server and ASP.NET-based architectures.

• Develop, test, deploy, monitor, and support solutions using a DevOps model.

• Use best practices to build scalable, robust, secure, and sustainable solutions.

• Transform business requirements into technical specifications.

• Estimate technical requirements and break down work into user stories and tasks.

• Collaborate with senior team members on prototypes or proof-of-concept projects.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• 5-8 years of professional experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Solid experience with VB, C#, .NET Core development.

• Development and management of Microsoft SQL Server databases, including stored procedures and functions.

• Development of ASP.NET HTTP/HTTPS web application components.

• Designing scalable, available, and resilient solution architectures.

• Agile development methodology experience using Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).

• Experience with code repositories such as Git and TFS.

Preferred / Additional Skills:

• Experience with .NET, .NET Core, VB, C#, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, and Microsoft tools.

• Knowledge of OPC UA equipment interfacing.

• Experience working in GMP and regulated environments.

• Programming experience with Seagull Scientific Bartender Label System APK.

• Ability to work effectively in global, virtual, and high-pressure environments.

• Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills.

• Willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally.

• Familiarity with relevant SOPs, company safety, and quality policies.

Physical and Travel Requirements:

• Approximately 5% travel required.
