Senior System Administrator

Description:

• Six (6) years of information systems experience in systems administration.
• An associate degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND four (4) years of information systems experience in systems administration.
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience in systems administration.

Job Specific Attributes

• Systems Administration Experience in a Windows environment including supporting group policies and secure configurations.
• Experience with a variety of Microsoft products, including Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
• Experience in planning, managing, and troubleshooting virtual infrastructures.
• Experience managing and maintaining secure FTP technologies and public key infrastructures.

Job Duties Summary

• System Infrastructure Design, Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Manage remote access and remote devices including maintenance and configuration.
• Manage Cloud Infrastructure including Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 components.
• Manage and support virtual servers, desktops, and other endpoints including installing, upgrading, and patching.
• Design, implement and support group policies and secure configurations.
• Enable and support Public Key Infrastructure environment.
• Design, install, manage, and upgrade Secure FTP infrastructure in support of business processes.
• Research, innovate and automate system administration.
• Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of Windows Infrastructure.
