EisnerAmper, one of the largest global accounting, tax, and business advisory firms, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join its National Tax Office. The Senior Tax Manager will play a vital role in driving complex federal income tax research, advising on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) tax structuring, and developing firm-wide resources to keep pace with ever-evolving tax regulations. This is an ideal position for a seasoned tax professional with a strong legal background who thrives in a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced research and analysis on a variety of federal income tax issues, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, timing matters, accounting methods, and digital assets.
Provide M&A tax structuring support and assist in internal corporate restructuring initiatives.
Draft technical memos, client communications, and firm-wide tax alerts to address current federal tax developments.
Support firm-wide training programs and knowledge sharing in the area of federal taxation.
Lead and assist in federal domestic tax due diligence processes for M&A transactions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative tax strategies and advisory solutions tailored to clients' needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Tax LL.M. required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive federal income tax consulting experience, preferably from a large law firm, accounting firm, or the IRS.
Strong analytical, research, and technical writing skills.
Expertise in partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations taxation preferred.
Proficiency in tax research tools such as Bloomberg BNA and RIA Checkpoint.
Exceptional ability to collaborate across teams while maintaining a high degree of autonomy.
Strong commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and thought leadership.
Compensation and Benefits:
Monthly salary: $10,000 – $22,500 (geographic adjustments may apply).
