As a Senior Technology Architect IT Planning, following are few of the key technical/product skillsets that you would be expected to have expertise on:
- Strong Knowledge of SAP BTP platform capabilities and the technology stack of at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP) for SAP deployments covering Technical Architecture, Infrastructure and integrations
- Ability to define and rationalize North Star architectures from technology perspective for complex SAP landscapes across cloud, hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios
- In-depth understanding of sizing, scalability, and capacity evaluation for SAP solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts related to SAP systems.
- Proficient in Software Change Management concepts (CTS, CTMS, Git, CALM) and able to define the landscape (N, N+1) for a hybrid environment (On-Premise, IaaS, SaaS, and BTP), aligning with the customer project and rollout schedule.
- Knowledge on SAP AI and Joule Architecture is preferred
- Knowledge of Integration solutions like SAP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, and API Management for end-to-end integration architecture planning is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of HANA database performance, administration, and deployment.
- Familiarity with data volume management techniques and options (such as Archiving, Data Tiering, and NSE).
- Knowledge of networking and storage concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with the general SAP application domain, particularly S/4HANA capabilities, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SAP LeanIX is a plus.
- TOGAF or SAP Enterprise Architecture certification is beneficial.
- Experience in creating automation tools using AI technologies.
What You Bring
As a Senior Technology Architect IT Planning, you are capable to perform the following duties:
- Lead strategic North Star and IT Transformation planning services for Premium Engagement customers on their journey to Intelligent, AI-enabled Enterprise
- Lead BTP architecture planning workshops to design scalable, event-driven and API-first integration landscapes for hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Lead the capacity planning and advance sizing services to project capacity for the customer production SAP cloud and on-premise solutions
- Lead strategic customer workshops to define SAP production instance strategy, landscape consolidation and BTP adoption roadmaps based on business objectives and IT strategy
- Drive AI platform enablement workshops—guiding customers through SAP AI architecture, agentic use case identification, solution design, and proof-of-concept planning
- Be a DEA (De-escalation Architect) on escalations and in Backoffice, perform root cause analysis and support the escalation management team to de-escalate
The Candidate Should Possess The Following
- Minimum 10+ year’s experience of experience in SAP architecture and IT transformation
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent domains

- Ability to articulate complex AI and architecture concepts to diverse audiences
