Senior Ux Designer

Description:

The Senior UX Designer will work across various departments at an enterprise level in a challenging, fast-paced environment. The Senior UX Designer will work as part of the user experience team designing best-in-class user experiences. They will be a key player in designing thoughtful solutions to reduce friction and improve satisfaction across all touchpoints in the customer journey. The Sr. UX Designer is an individual contributor and reports to the SVP, CE & Performance Analytics. There are no direct or indirect reports for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Create impactful solutions directly aligned with business strategies.

• Design user interfaces and interactions that are accessible, intuitive, and delightful to use.

• Create elegant visual designs with thoughtful typography, color, and composition.

• Design user-centered wireframes showing functionality for features and content, mock-ups, and clickable prototypes for a wide range of devices and create production-ready graphics for a developer to code.

• Work with project managers, design, engineering, and quality assurance in an agile process

• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.

• Evolve designs based on user feedback and test results as needed to ensure solutions deliver real value to customers.

• Support and update our digital design systems.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 6+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite and rapid prototyping tools like XD, Figma, or Invision.
• 5+ years of experience delivering interface design solutions for various clients, including interactive wireframes, user flows, style guides, presentations, or complex web and mobile prototypes.
• Effective communication and self-organizational skills.
• A thorough understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
• A clear passion and enthusiasm for learning and pursuing your expertise, constantly challenging the definition of what makes a good user experience.
• Higher-ed or agency experience preferred.

Education:

• B.F.A./ B.A. degree in Graphic Design or relevant experience in a related design discipline
