Lensa, in collaboration with Amazon, is currently promoting an exciting opportunity for a Senior Video Editor to join the In-House AV Creative Studio at Prime Video. Based in Culver City, California, this full-time on-site role calls for a creative and technically skilled editor to help elevate Prime Video's brand and content presence through dynamic visual storytelling.
As part of Amazon’s mission to become the world’s most beloved streaming service, the Senior Video Editor will be central in crafting compelling video content for a wide range of marketing campaigns, theatrical releases, digital platforms, and social media channels. This role combines high-end editing, creative ideation, sound design, and leadership within a collaborative creative ecosystem.
Creative Production & Editing
Deliver best-in-class AV marketing materials for Amazon MGM Studios titles and Prime Video campaigns
Develop 360° marketing assets including trailers, promos, sizzle reels, and short-form digital content
Execute creative vision through editing, scripting, sound design, and music supervision
Work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple deadlines and feedback cycles
Strategic Collaboration
Partner with internal stakeholders including creative directors, designers, producers, and strategists
Participate in creative reviews, contributing constructive feedback to elevate overall quality
Maintain efficient workflows, edit bays, and organized project backups for ongoing campaigns
Quality & Delivery
Ensure QC and delivery standards are met across all formats and platforms
Manage project priorities effectively based on team and business objectives
Uphold Amazon’s commitment to excellence, safety, and compliance in creative execution
You will be joining Prime Video’s US Creative Production organization, the central creative engine driving marketing and brand excellence. This team is responsible for ideating, developing, and executing emotionally resonant and high-impact creative assets across customer touchpoints.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
7+ years of experience in video editing, specifically in trailers and promos
5+ years working in creative agencies or in-house creative teams
Strong experience with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Proficiency in ProTools or other sound mixing/design software
Must provide a demo reel or portfolio and participate in a portfolio review
Experience leading creative development from concept to delivery
Proven ability to present creative work to senior executives
Ability to manage multiple high-pressure projects under aggressive timelines
Familiarity with theatrical and streaming industry standards
Experience mentoring or guiding other creatives or vendors
Annual Salary: $127100 – $210300 (based on geographic market and experience)
(Monthly estimate: $10591 – $17525)
