Description:
O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver top-tier customer service to both retail and installer customers. This in-store role requires someone who is friendly, professional, and motivated to assist customers with merchandise selection, phone support, and various operational tasks. Ideal candidates will be service-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist walk-in and phone-in customers with parts selection and related selling
Promote and follow all company customer service programs (e.g., Hi-5, Rock the Lot, Low Price Guarantee)
Provide excellent phone support, look up parts accurately, quote prices, and recommend premium items
Securely manage cash drawer, handle payments, returns, and exchanges per company policies
Assist with inventory tasks: stocking, cycle counts, preparing merchandise returns, and updating planograms
Perform in-store vehicle services (battery tests, wiper installation, diagnostics, etc.) where permitted
Operate store test equipment (e.g., brake lathe) after training
Drive delivery vehicle occasionally (must meet company driving eligibility)
Complete company-assigned training and certifications relevant to the position
Candidate Profile:
Required:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure
Comfortable with alphanumeric sequencing and basic retail operations
Preferred:
Familiarity with automotive parts and catalog systems
ASE certification
Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
Prior experience in automotive sales or service
