Description:
As a Service Engineering Manager, you are responsible for the following tasks:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of DCS service engineers, fostering a culture of safety, technical excellence, accountability, and customer focus.
- Manage workload planning, resource allocation, and skills development to meet service commitments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key customers regarding service performance, lifecycle planning, and modernization options.
- Oversee the execution of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, upgrades, and optimization services for DCS platforms.
- Conduct periodic service reviews and develop long‑term service strategies that align with customer goals.
- Identify opportunities for service improvements, upgrades, and value‑added solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Engineering, Product Management, and other internal teams to align service offerings and support product lifecycle needs.
- Support the development and execution of service agreements, including scope definition, pricing, and renewal strategy.
- Manage service budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and resource utilization.
- Ensure profitable and efficient delivery of services while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Expectations
The candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Controls, Automation, or related discipline).
- 7+ years of experience with DCS, PLC/SCADA, or industrial automation systems.
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering or technical service teams. Strong knowledge of industrial networks, control system architecture, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 20%.
- Responsiveness to after-hours customer inquiries is also required.
