rockITdata is seeking a talented Junior/Mid Level Software Engineer to help us with application support for a scheduling product line that will positively impact the lives of millions of Americans. Our team needs a creative engineer with experience supporting and troubleshooting applications, with strong communication and collaboration skills with a passion for innovation. This team provides 24/7 coverage of a scheduling product line, will be monitoring for tickets and application performance, triaging / responding to issues, and notifying on call resources when necessary.

We are seeking talent willing to work the following shifts:

8pm - 8am: 12 hour shifts (rotating schedule of Sunday-Tuesday and Sunday-Wednesday)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring for tickets and application performance
• Triaging / responding to issues
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher (4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
• 2+ years' experience with the Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience with REACT, Typescript, and Java Web Services
• Excellent knowledge of software development and user interface web application
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• An ability to understand front-end users’ requirements and a problem-solving attitude.
