Shift Managers

 

Description:

Shift Managers are the operational leaders who drive our business daily. As Manager-on-Duty, you are accountable for driving onsite culture, team performance, safety, service execution, and the overall guest experience. This role is ideal for leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy developing people, and are looking for a clear pathway into higher-level operational leadership. Shift Managers rotate through defined areas of responsibility to build well rounded leadership, business, and operational skills.

What You'll Do

Lead Operations
 

  • Own daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty, resolving guest and team issues with confidence and discretion
  • Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through
  • Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness
     

Coach and Develop Teams
 

  • Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards
  • Provide shoulder to shoulder coaching and celebrate and recognize team members
  • Support training completion and promote a culture of engagement and accountability
     

Uphold Safety & Brand Standards
 

  • Model company values and enforce policies and procedures
  • Proactively identify safety risks and address issues immediately
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards
     

Rotational Leadership Focus Areas - To support leadership development, Shift Managers rotate through the following focus areas:

People & Staffing Leadership -- Scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance

Sales & Training Leadership -- Team training, coaching sales behaviors, certification support, and identifying development gaps

Operations & Tunnel Leadership -- Site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization

What We're Looking For
 

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory or customer-service experience
  • Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable
  • Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style
