Shift Supervisor

Description:

Reynolds Consumer Products is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the production team at their Jacksonville, IL facility. This role oversees a 12-hour rotating day/night production shift, ensuring productivity, safety, quality, and operational excellence while fostering a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, direct, and coordinate all activities of a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost.

• Coach and develop the production team to ensure accountability for safety, production, quality, equipment, and housekeeping.

• Coordinate with schedulers to achieve daily production targets.

• Perform supervisory tasks including planning, assigning work, appraising performance, resolving complaints, and addressing problems.

• Ensure accurate gathering and reporting of production data.

• Support and improve quality initiatives aligned with plant goals.

• Manage departmental safety and compliance with SQF and GMP practices for safe food packaging.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and unified team-oriented workplace focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS in Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.

• 3+ years of related professional manufacturing experience.

• Proven team management experience with skills in coaching and mentoring staff.

• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities.
