Description:

Shower Doors of Texas, a growing provider of custom glass shower enclosures, is seeking a motivated Helper / Apprentice Installer to join their installation team. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, reliable, and ready to develop hands-on trade skills in the glass installation industry. No previous experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided by experienced lead installers.

The Apprentice Installer will assist in the installation of shower doors and glass enclosures, working closely with senior team members to gain practical skills and industry knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term career in glass installation and home improvement while enjoying stable, local work within the DFW area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead installers with the installation of glass shower enclosures.

• Learn and apply industry best practices through hands-on training.

• Handle, lift, and transport heavy glass panels (80+ lbs per panel, often more).

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.

• Provide excellent support and teamwork in daily installation projects.

• Ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift heavy glass panels safely and repeatedly.

• Strong work ethic with eagerness to learn and grow within the trade.

• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented mindset.

• Prior experience in construction, installation, or similar fields is a plus but not required.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Full-time role, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

• Local work within DFW and surrounding areas – be home every night.
