Snowflake Solution Architect

Description:

ClifyX is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Solution Architect to support our client in San Francisco, CA, in a full-time hybrid role. This position focuses on leading technical sales engagements, solution design, and client interactions centered around Snowflake data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a profound knowledge of Snowflake’s architecture and integration within cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture:

• Serve as a technical advisor, identifying client challenges and proposing Snowflake-centered solutions.

• Design and present data pipelines, architectures, and integration strategies tailored to each client.

• Create proof-of-concepts and demos to effectively showcase Snowflake capabilities.

Technical Consultation & Client Engagement:

• Lead discovery sessions to analyze existing data architecture and identify improvement opportunities.

• Recommend best practices for Snowflake in terms of performance, governance, security, and cost-efficiency.

• Assist in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and develop technical documentation.

Collaboration & Enablement:

• Partner with sales, product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure effective solution delivery.

• Conduct training sessions, webinars, and workshops to support client enablement and Snowflake adoption.

• Stay abreast of new Snowflake features, industry trends, and technical innovations.

Integration & Ecosystem Expertise:

• Advise on integration with leading ETL tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Matillion), BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and AI/ML platforms (e.g., Databricks, TensorFlow).

• Provide guidance on multi-cloud migration strategies and Snowflake adoption best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture/solution consulting with 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.

• Strong understanding of Snowflake core features including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Stored Procedures.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data scripting languages (SQL, Python).

• Expertise in ETL/ELT tools and tuning data performance.

• Awareness of compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a consultative approach.
