Summary:
Referral Mate seeks a self-motivated and creative individual to join our social team as a Social Media and Marketing Intern. The successful candidate will create and execute a social media and marketing plan that helps increase Referral Mate’s visibility and brand awareness. This unpaid internship position requires 5-10 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and publish content on Referral Mate social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
• Create blogs, videos, events, and press releases to promote Referral Mate
• Continuous monitoring and advertising on our social media platforms
• Collaborate with our partner organizations to assist with Referral Mate’s presence in their communication platforms and tools
• Weekly meetings with the team’s supervisor

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in college or a university pursuing an associate or undergraduate degree - only active students will be considered
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Availability to work 5-10 hours per week
• Independent thinker, creative, and organized
• Experience editing and writing marketing content
• Some experience in digital marketing
