Rent|Vest, a forward-thinking real estate startup on a mission to make renting smarter by turning rent into ownership and connecting landlords with the next generation of tenants, is seeking a Social Media Coordinator & Canva Designer Intern to join its dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, motivated individual who is passionate about design, digital marketing, and social media growth.

As a Social Media Coordinator Intern, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s online presence, creating visually appealing and engaging content, and helping grow the Rent|Vest brand voice across social platforms. This role is particularly suited for someone looking to gain startup experience, experiment with creative ideas, and potentially build a long-term career with the company, with the possibility of equity for standout contributors.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Designing social media graphics, carousels, and short-form videos using Canva (Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is a plus).

  • Managing content planning, scheduling, and posting across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

  • Ensuring all social media materials align with Rent|Vest’s branding, voice, and design standards.

  • Assisting in launching and executing new marketing campaigns, particularly rent-to-own awareness initiatives.

  • Researching and incorporating trending sounds, hashtags, and social media strategies to enhance reach and engagement.

  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on performance metrics to optimize content strategy.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong eye for design and attention to aesthetics.

  • Proficiency with Canva; knowledge of Adobe Suite or video editing tools such as CapCut is a plus.

  • Understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and content trends.

  • Excellent written communication skills with a clear, concise, and engaging style.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Passion for startups, real estate, or housing solutions is desirable but not required.
