Social Media Video Editor

Description:

TEKsystems, a global technology and talent services company, is hiring a Video Editor – Social for a high-profile short-term 1–2 month contract role based on-site in Menlo Park, CA. This opportunity is perfect for creative professionals with a pulse on social media trends and proven skills in quick-turn, engaging content creation.

The position is designed to support social-first storytelling, crafting content tailored to social platforms with a strong focus on UGC-style storytelling, motion graphics, and trending digital elements. The editor will work alongside creative and communications teams to produce assets that elevate executive communications and product announcements.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Production

• Edit and assemble short-form, thumb-stopping content for various social channels

• Utilize motion graphics, templates, and editing techniques that align with modern social trends

• Partner with comms and creative teams to strategically produce and deliver social-first content

Collaboration & Execution

• Engage cross-functionally with creative, product comms, and leadership teams

• Support content for C-level executive communications and high-impact announcements

• Work in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities and dynamic requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience creating content across all mediums (photo, video, social media)

• Strong background in editing and content strategy with social-first sensibilities

• Ability to adapt to quick turnarounds, changing priorities, and fast-paced production schedules

• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and available to work fully on-site in Menlo Park

• Strong organizational skills with a flexible and proactive mindset

• Proven portfolio showcasing UGC content, trending social formats, and motion graphic work

• Energized by fast-paced creative environments

• Detail-oriented with both a strategic and hands-on execution mindset

• Experience working in tech-driven industries

• Comfort collaborating across cross-functional creative and communication teams

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $70 – $120 (approx. $11200 – $19200 monthly for 40 hrs/week)
