Trideum Corporation, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking exceptional and innovative software engineers to join its team in developing and enhancing effects-based simulation toolkits. This role offers a rare opportunity to design, develop, test, and deploy software tools that generate viable data for national security decision-making. Trideum software developers are engaged in extensive research, product design, software programming, testing, and integration, supporting mission-critical applications for government clients.

As a DEVS Software Developer/Engineer, you will provide technical guidance, develop DEVS coupled and atomic software models, perform unit and system testing, and integrate tools into analytical environments. You will participate in software design meetings, evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, assess operational and performance requirements, and create documentation including system specifications, technical reports, and user manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop DEVS coupled and atomic models for analytical and simulation tools.

• Review and assess existing code modules to align with current and future requirements.

• Work in an Agile environment to support software architecture, development, integration, deployment, and maintenance.

• Write, test, debug, and document software, algorithms, and mathematical solutions to mission problems.

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and programmers to design and refine systems.

• Communicate project status, design concepts, and performance metrics effectively.

• Stay updated on technology trends and apply new tools and methodologies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Development/Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

• Experience developing DEVS coupled and atomic software models.

• Strong object-oriented programming skills and knowledge of software engineering best practices.

• Proficiency in algorithmic code, complexity analysis, performance optimization, and multithreading.

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

• Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• US Citizen with an active or eligible DoD Secret clearance.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Operations Analysis, Decision Analytics, or other technical, quantitative discipline.

• 2–5 years of software development experience for actual projects (C#, Java, Python).

• Experience with Department of Defense operational campaign-level analytical tools.

• TS or SCI-eligible clearance.
