Software Engineer

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a creative and talented Software Engineer who is passionate about solving problems and improving peoples’ lives. SEL develops critical products that provide the main interface for protecting, controlling, monitoring & analyzing the power grid.

Our team supports SEL's public web presence at selinc.com. This role is focused on web development. Some technologies we commonly use are: Typescript, React, C#, MSSQL, and Postgres.

As a Software Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

• Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software systems.

• Recommend and implement processes following industry best practices for developing, testing, and deploying software.

• Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to solve complex problems.
