Focused on making life-saving cancer screening accessible to underserved populations, the company is beginning with lung cancer detection. Oatmeal Health partners with Federally Qualified Health Centers to improve early detection rates and bridge gaps in healthcare access.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and work remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the user interface and backend integration of our proprietary virtual nodule clinic, an innovative AI technology that identifies concerning nodules on low-dose CT scans and predicts their probability of malignancy. Additionally, you will help maintain and enhance our nurse practitioner-facing patient navigation app, which integrates with AI technologies that automate patient calls and identify patients who may qualify for new clinical offerings or trials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the user interface and backend of Oatmeal Health's proprietary virtual nodule clinic

• Integrate AI technology to identify and predict the probability of malignancy in low-dose CT scans

• Maintain and enhance the nurse practitioner-facing patient navigation app, integrating it with AI tools

• Automate patient calls and identify potential candidates for new clinical offerings or clinical trials

• Work collaboratively in a remote team environment to achieve company goals

Qualifications:

• Industry experience in full-stack software development

• Experience in healthcare technology

• Proficiency with HIPAA and SOC2 requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team setting
