Software Engineer

Description:

Compunnel Inc. is hiring skilled contract engineers on W2 for our client’s technology team based in Westlake, TX. We are looking for professionals with strong experience in Java, AWS, Angular, or a combination of the two to contribute to the development of containerized microservices applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot

Develop scalable, cloud-native applications on AWS

Build dynamic and responsive UIs using Angular

Use Docker and Kubernetes (or ECS) to containerize and orchestrate applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation

Required Skills

Candidates must have expertise with two or more of the following:

• Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs)
• Amazon Web Services (AWS Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Angular (v10 or above)

Must have experience with:

• Docker / Kubernetes / ECS
• CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
