Software Engineer

Description:

Orbis Group is seeking a Software Engineer – AI Search to join a highly motivated team working on one of the most critical challenges of the AI era—helping businesses understand and influence how they appear in AI-generated answers and search results. The successful candidate will play a foundational role in building full-stack AI-powered software solutions. You’ll be involved in end-to-end product development—from architecture design to implementation—focusing on creating powerful, intuitive tools that turn raw AI insights into actionable business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver full-stack features that transform AI data into meaningful insights.

• Build responsive and fast front-end user interfaces.

• Design scalable, secure, and performant back-end systems.

• Collaborate closely with the product and design teams to drive new features.

• Take ownership of key technical decisions and contribute to the architectural evolution.

• Help define product direction in a fast-moving, startup environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.), preferably from a top-tier institution.

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience building software products.

• Prior experience in fast-paced startups or high-growth environments is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python.

• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to work in ambiguous situations.

• Passion for building tools at the intersection of AI, web, and trust.
