Software Engineer

Description:

Fiserv, a global leader in Fintech and payment technologies, is seeking a Software Engineer to join its team in New York, NY. As a key contributor, you will help build one of the most advanced digital operations platforms tailored for the restaurant industry. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within a robust engineering team focused on creating scalable, high-quality software solutions that move money and information across the globe securely and reliably.

You’ll be working with a modern tech stack primarily consisting of Django/Python and React, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to build impactful features.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new platform features.

• Write high-quality, maintainable production code.

• Contribute to unit and integration testing for new and existing features.

• Participate in the design and feasibility review process.

• Provide peer code reviews and constructive technical feedback.

• Recommend emerging technologies and help define engineering standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (minimum educational requirement).

• At least 4 years of experience writing production-level code.

• Proficiency with web-based frameworks such as Django or Ruby on Rails.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.

• Some level of experience with React.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Experience in Android development, particularly with Kotlin.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires on-site presence, Monday through Friday.

• In-person collaboration is considered essential for onboarding and productivity.

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.—no employer sponsorship or visa transfers are available for this role.

Compensation:

• Annual Salary Range: USD 97,500 to 164,400

• Monthly Equivalent: USD 8125 to 13700

• This position is not eligible for annual incentive bonuses or commissions.
