Equifax is recruiting highly motivated, junior engineers with strong collaboration and communication skills for its St. Louis based WOTC (Work Opportunity Tax Credits) Engineering Team. WOTC is a service provided to employers based on both geographical and demographic information that aids them in obtaining tax credits. This engineering team is responsible for managing the many applications which make this service possible.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and work you're doing

  • You have the ability to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design

  • Work with product owners, UX and other business partners to define work for the team

What experience you need:

  • STEM or Computer Science BS or MS degree

  • Experience developing accessible technologies (anything in the Java stack of technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, etc.)

  • Database, Oracle or RDBMS and PL/SQL language experience

  • Ability to develop algorithms

Extra Points for any of the Following

  • Knowledge of SCRUM or Agile methodologies
    Any experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP and

  • Deploying and automating infrastructure/applications using Chef, RPM, Docker, AWS (ECS, ECR), Terraform, etc. will help us on our exciting journey
