Yochana is currently hiring a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join its quality engineering team based in Redmond, WA. This full-time, on-site role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-impact software testing initiatives using cutting-edge automation and performance testing tools.

As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring software quality through test automation and performance benchmarking. You will collaborate with developers and QA professionals to build robust test frameworks, execute automated test scripts, and improve test coverage across projects. The role demands deep expertise in test tools and scripting, as well as an analytical mindset and proactive communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, QTP, and Rational Functional Tester.

• Utilize test management tools including Radar, HP ALM, RQM, Jira, and Test Rail for test case management and defect tracking.

• Write efficient and reusable automation scripts in Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

• Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, and Rational Performance Tester.

• Work closely with development teams to understand application architecture and features for effective testing.

• Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, results, and defect reports.

• Participate in test strategy design and continuous integration pipelines.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as:

  • Test Complete

  • AutoIt

  • QTP

• Experience with test management platforms like Radar, RQM, HP ALM, Jira, and Test Rail.

• Solid programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, and Rational Performance Tester.

• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
