Software Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of RLDatix’s web-based healthcare software applications. You will be part of a global team of over 2,000 professionals working to enhance healthcare outcomes by developing dependable software systems used by hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations globally.

Your primary focus will be on blending manual and automated testing to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products. You will design and implement automated test scripts using Python and Selenium, conduct manual regression and feature testing, and collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, technical testing proficiency, and a genuine passion for improving healthcare quality through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python/Selenium to enhance product quality.

• Perform manual regression and feature testing to validate new development and ensure stability.

• Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to define clear reproduction steps and identify root causes for defects.

• Utilize tools such as TestRail and Jira for test case management, issue tracking, and contribution to sprint planning.

• Perform SQL querying and API testing for web-based systems.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, expanding automation coverage and optimizing testing processes.

• Work on-site in Lehi, UT, several days a week for team collaboration and sprint-based development.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

• Proven track record as a Quality Engineer, QA Analyst, or Software Test Engineer.

• Expertise in Python and Selenium for test automation.

• Strong understanding of manual testing, API testing, and SQL querying.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate in an agile, sprint-driven engineering environment.

Preferred:

• Experience in the healthcare software or health information systems domain.

• Familiarity with TestRail, Jira, or similar QA management tools.

• Strong interest in ensuring healthcare safety and reliability through software quality.
