Solution Portfolio Manager

Description:

Meta is seeking a Solution Portfolio Manager to join their HR Technology team in Austin, TX. This full-time position focuses on driving the execution of multiple technical projects within the HR Technology portfolio. The successful candidate will ensure seamless integration across business and engineering teams, leveraging technology to improve employee experience, project efficiency, and scalable HR operations.

As a Solution Portfolio Manager, you will take ownership of prioritizing and planning technology roadmaps, tracking project execution, and managing risks while working in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment. You will also serve as a key liaison between stakeholders, project teams, and leadership to ensure delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple concurrent HR technology portfolios and cross-functional program work streams.

• Collaborate with Solution Design, Data Insights, Service Design, and People Engineering teams to align on project goals.

• Oversee integrated technology roadmap development, dashboard health monitoring, and performance metrics tracking.

• Lead large-scale technology projects from planning through to launch and adoption.

• Organize meetings, document key decisions, track milestones, and maintain transparency across teams.

• Identify and mitigate project risks and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

• Maintain and improve internal documentation processes and standard operating procedures.

• Drive process automation and optimization for HR technology operations.

• Promote data-driven decisions and advocate for efficiency through analytics.

• Influence solution design discussions and build stakeholder buy-in through effective communication.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 6 years of corporate project management experience.

• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams across various organizational levels.

• Familiarity with SDLC, waterfall, and agile methodologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to translate technical language for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Deep knowledge of the HR technology landscape and platforms (e.g., Workday, Salesforce).

• Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications.

• Experience in developing and managing technical specs across platforms.

• Expertise in HR infrastructure and GenAI applications in HR processes.
