As a Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role as a trusted advisor to both prospective and existing customers, guiding them through technical evaluations, platform adoption, and scaling their ML/AI use cases. This role goes beyond delivering product demos — it involves technical storytelling, designing architectures, solving challenging data problems, and fostering long-term customer success.

You will collaborate closely with Account Executives to secure new business opportunities and work directly with innovative companies to help them envision and realize the potential of Tecton’s platform. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand Customer Needs & Drive Technical Decisions: Assess customer architectures and ML ecosystems, lead discovery sessions, and demonstrate Tecton’s value to influence confident purchase decisions.

  • Enable Adoption & Scale: Guide customers through onboarding, implementation, and best practices to ensure smooth adoption and operational excellence.

  • Advance Customer Success: Monitor platform usage, analyze adoption trends, and identify new opportunities for expansion and value creation.

  • Deliver Thought Leadership: Conduct workshops, technical talks, and build reusable assets like demos, playbooks, and reference architectures.

  • Champion Customer Feedback: Collect and share customer insights to inform Tecton’s product roadmap and enhance customer experience.

  • Represent Tecton in the ML Ecosystem: Actively participate in meetups, events, and technical communities to expand Tecton’s presence.


Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with ML/AI workflows, data pipelines, and batch/streaming systems (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka, Snowflake).

  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure).

  • Proven success in pre-sales or technical account management, including winning technical evaluations and driving adoption.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex capabilities into clear business value for engineers, architects, and executives.

  • Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively across internal teams.

  • Adaptable and comfortable in dynamic, complex technical environments.

  • Customer-focused with the ability to build trust quickly and drive successful outcomes.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $195000 – $269000 (California & New York); OTE: $169000 – $266000 annually

  • Monthly salary: approximately $14083 – $22166 per month

Work Environment

Tecton is a remote-friendly company with hybrid policies for employees based in San Francisco, New York, and Seattle. Seattle employees are expected to work on-site at least two designated days per month while maintaining flexibility for remote work.
