Description:
Systems Innovation Engineering (SIE) is seeking a Solutions Architect II for a remote, full-time position contingent upon contract award. This role requires active or attainable U.S. national security clearance and occasional travel to customer, subcontractor, or company locations.
SIE specializes in delivering advanced software, sensor, and systems engineering solutions to U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) clients. The company is focused on mission readiness, technological innovation, and operational dominance.
As a Solutions Architect II, you will work within a high-performing software and enterprise solutions team to integrate Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) software applications into a suite of cloud-based tools supporting defense customers. You will be instrumental in architecting system solutions, developing reliability models, leading business process design, and ensuring high application quality and performance. Deliver product demos and promote developed system capabilities to stakeholders
Translate business requirements into effective technical and process solutions
Estimate effort for development tasks to support agile sprint planning
Architect and design complex business processes using enterprise tools
Develop custom RMA models including FMECAs, RBDs, and related reliability artifacts
Integrate RMA tools with other enterprise systems and services
Conduct comprehensive system testing and debugging
Ensure system documentation is complete and accurate
Support and guide developers and cross-functional teams in delivering solutions
U.S. Citizenship with active or eligible national security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience with reliability modeling and simulation software
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and work independently
Experience with Siemens MADE software tool
Knowledge of RMA processes in the DoD or similar defense agencies
Familiarity with FMECA, RBDs, FRACAS, and FTA
Experience with DoD software development standards and agile methodologies
SQL scripting and familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, and Siemens RapidMiner
Programming experience in Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, HTML5
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and able to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).
