Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant Manager to join its pre-sales technical leadership team. This pivotal role is designed for a dynamic, strategic, and technically adept individual who will lead and mentor a high-performing team of Solutions Consultants. You will partner closely with district sales leaders to drive customer engagement, develop technical strategy, and ensure the successful delivery of comprehensive cybersecurity solutions across the organization’s platform.

This position demands a highly motivated and experienced professional with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, strong people leadership skills, and a strategic mindset. You will be shaping the future of cybersecurity while protecting organizations around the world.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Solutions Consultants to deliver best-in-class cybersecurity solutions and customer outcomes.

  • Guide your team through technical validations, complex customer challenges, and solution implementations.

  • Define and monitor individual development plans and performance reviews.

  • Support hiring initiatives by attracting and recruiting top-tier technical talent.

  • Partner with Sales (DSM) and other technical specialists to develop and execute a regional/district technical strategy.

  • Act as a key escalation point and technical authority in high-stakes opportunities and deployments.

  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to provide customer feedback and inform product direction.

  • Drive solution adoption and platformization across accounts through collaborative efforts with Customer Success, Professional Services, and domain experts.

  • Represent Palo Alto Networks as a technical expert during customer interactions, presentations, and executive briefings.

  • Maintain and grow strong customer relationships to establish strategic reference accounts.


Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Proven experience as a pre-sales System Engineer Manager or Senior System Engineer/Specialist.

  • Strong domain knowledge across cybersecurity verticals such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC Transformation Technologies.

  • Demonstrated success in managing technical teams in high-growth or enterprise environments.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to design and deliver scalable, secure technical solutions tailored to customer needs.

  • Experience collaborating with customer support, implementation, and adoption teams.

  • Solid understanding of competitive cybersecurity product landscapes and market trends.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage audiences from engineers to C-level executives.

  • Proficient in English.

  • Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time within the region.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $224000 – $290000/year (Approx. $18666 – $24166/month)

  • Compensation may include:

    • Base salary

    • Commission/bonus structure (sales/commissioned role)

    • Restricted stock units (RSUs)
