Sourcing Manager

Description:

Value Source Partners Oy, a leading Finnish procurement specialist company, is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join its expert team in Southwest Finland. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement professional with a strong passion for developing purchasing processes, managing procurement in technical environments, and delivering added value to organizations.

As a Sourcing Manager, you will act as a consultant and expert in various client assignments, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and executing procurement activities for designated projects or responsibility areas.

• Conducting supplier searches, evaluations, and selections.

• Building and developing supplier relationships.

• Leading and managing contract negotiations.

• Running tendering processes and managing requests for quotations.

• Ensuring procurement documentation is accurate and complete.

• Overseeing orders and handling possible claims when necessary.

• Driving cost efficiency while improving processes.

Depending on the assignment, your responsibilities may cover procurement of technical materials, components, parts, assemblies, subcontracting parts, machining, contracting, machinery, equipment, devices, or complete systems.

Requirements:

• A suitable higher education degree (technical or commercial field).

• Strong background in procurement, supplier collaboration, negotiations, and contract management.

• Experience in procurement within technical and industrial environments.

• Familiarity with procurement tools and systems.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Fluency in Finnish and English (written and spoken).

• A self-directed, solution-oriented, and proactive working style.
